Trial of Sekhemas screen freeze on Hourglass trials on floor 2
I am experiencing a very weird screen freeze in the Trial of Sekhemas.
It only happens on Hourglass trials and only on floor 2. Hourglass on floors 1 and 3 are fine. (Never made it to floor 4.) Monster spawning causes bad additive lag (memory leak?), causing FPS to drop rapidly until it reaches zero. Meanwhile, I can still move, dodge, and cast spells, and sometimes see my Honor and Life/ES decrease as I get hit but nothing else on the screen updates. If I survive such an encounter by blindly mashing roll dodge and Spark/Arc, it is possible to unfreeze it, but not while the trial is still going. In my case on Linux and Plasma, I unfreeze it by switching to another desktop and then back. Finally, I have found a workaround for the time being: In Floor 2 Hourglass trials I'll hole up in the corner furthest from the hourglass, so that most of the mobs spawn off-screen, and just kill the ones that come to me.
