Death from ODE 30 Seconds after Boss Kill

I killed the boss, and had 3 fragments drop for me. Elated I took a screenshot to post in my discord. And randomly a shower of electric storms rained down on me killing me instantly. This on death effect happened 30+ seconds after I killed the boss.
