Atlas progress does not sync between ps5 and Steam

I play using cross progression between ps5 and Steam and I noticed that the Atlas Map progress does not sync. Any progress made on Steam I cannot continue it from ps5 for example: If a map was completed from Steam an the I log in to ps5 I can't open the adjacent map from the one just completed from Steam. This makes cross progression unplayable during the endgame.
