Player Death After Boss Death

I have observed this issue in the new patch 0.1.1 on 2 different bosses (Rattelcage, The Earthbreaker & Viper Napuatzi). The curses and spells the boss casts do not cancel immediately on boss death. It is possible to defeat the boss with near full health then the player die due to one of these still casting spells. In the case of Viper Napuatzi, it appears the player is slowed after she is defeated so it is difficult to continue to dodge these spells still being cast.
On reload to the checkpoint all loot dropped by the boss is lost. Since the boss was already defeated, the player does not have an opportunity to repeat the boss and try to survive or collect the loot. In the case of Rattlecage, this results in failure of the loss of the trial and the barya for the player. This is exceptionally frustrating, on harder bosses, and especially for players reliant on evasion. Either let us repeat the boss or don't kill us after the fact!
