Trials of Chaos impending doom bug

Provided in the link below is a recording of me getting shafted upon inserting the last soul core in to the altar. Am I missing something here because it seems to me, there was no indication it was going to happen?

Still happens - Not Fixed

What happens is, if you trigger an Impending doom by going over it, and then go off-screen without ever triggering it, the impending doom completely pauses and becomes invisible, and when you return to an arbitrary range of the impending doom it triggers with the same invisible state. This is my rough interpretation, and this cannot be intended.
