Jamanra didn't drop loot, stuck standing still after I left via the stairs and came back

I just killed Jamanra, but when he reached zero health he didn't die or drop any loot. I tried leaving via the stairs at the back of his arena, but when I came back, he was standing still (and groaning), stuck at like 30% health, and can't be damaged.

In order to progress the trail of corruption quest, I had to leave via the stairs again and walk through the sandstorm desert area until I reached Asala, at which point she told me to return to the caravan.

This is quite frustrating, because I didn't get any loot from the boss.

Right, I understand now - I went back and fought him again, and only this time did I get to see the cutscene where he leaves without you killing him (at about the same amount of HP he was stuck at before).

So I guess what happened is not that he didn't die when he was supposed to, robbing me of loot, but instead that I just didn't get to see that cutscene. Still a bug, but not as bad of one.
