Suggestion for 3-1 reforge (might be onto something here)
With the removal of alteration orbs, the reforge system was introduced to replace the old alteration orbs.
It makes total sense, as now bases suddenly become valuable, not only that but every item that drops (and that can be reforged) has some value to it now. I think they did a great job with that. However, with this new solution they introduced a few problems: -The tediousness of having to store every single base -reforging process takes a long time -personally not a fan of how reforging requires the same rarity of items So what is my solution? Introduce a system, that lets us convert the bases into their corresponding 1x1 "souls". You get 1 soul for a white base, 2 souls for a magic base and 3 souls for rare base. Reforging attempts could cost 3 souls, they could cost 10 or even more. Obviously it will need a proper balancing. You wont be able to determine the rarity of the new reforged item, it will either be white (dont know about that one though) magic or rare. You'd have to tweak transmutation orbs drop rate, as they are a way to basically get 2 souls all the time for free, with how often they drop right now. Idk about regal orbs, I guess theyre in a decent spot right now. I think this system gets rid of a few problems we had: - stash space (you could even introduce soul stash tabs and milk us further $$$, or maybe even call it reforge tab and add the ability to reforge inside this tab) - no more worrying about having same rarity on all 3 items -reforging is actually faster now, as you will be able to convert every new item you dont need into a soul, that way youre not forced to empty and refill your inventory space every time Sorry, english is not my first language. After thinking about it a some more, I came to a realization: there is really no need for a conversion. These issues can be solved by the reforge tab alone, or maybe just a tab for bases.
-Have 100 slots for every base -remove the requirement of having to have all same rarity of items -add affinity for bases, make it easier to store them |
