Omen of Whittling ERROR

i use Omen of Whittling on my weapon and it remove my higest tier
my weapon has t7 t7 t8 prefix and t7 t4 t4 suffix
i use the Omen of Whittling and my t8 prefix is removed
i am sure i used the Omen of Whittling because it show i use it by the message
PLEASE HELP ME RECOVER MY WEAPON

It removed the lowest lvl req mod, not tier.
Omen does nothing with tiers.

i really think it need change the describe of the omen

the description says level, not tier tho, but agree

"While this item is active in your inventory your next Chaos Orb will remove the lowest level modifier"

How could you even know which modifier has the lowest level? just bricked my perfect ring...

I lucked out and only bricked a 12 div pair of gloves. I have thousands of hours in Poe 1 and have crafted gear in leagues that had multiple mirror services, and I also thought they meant tier lvl not lowest Ilvl req mod.

This is absurd. I just wasted two omen of whittling on a pair of boots bricking them. It should definitely be the actual lowest tier that is affected. It's completely useless otherwise. The level info isn't even available in the game. They can't possibly expect us to go to poedb2, a third party non affiliated website, and check modifier levels to calculate which mod will gett changed. GGG need to change this ASAP or at least make the omen highlight which mod will be affected and clarify the text. This hole thing just killed my motivation to keep playing until they release the next reset patch.

Agreed. Some people have little compassion and don't care about the vagueness and misleading nature of the item description. I also posted about this and it's clearly an issue. Hopefully the game creators have a heart to change it to the lowest tier level modifier, or change descriptor to be more clear or provide better indicators when the tier level is the only indicator available currently in-game etc.

The fact you need to datamine to use the crafting system shows that the system has failed.
