[BUG] POE2 - Support Gem Disappears

Guys I've just discovered a bug where if you get a skill from the passive skill tree into your (G - Skills Tab) and then insert a support gem in it and remove the passive skill tree point that gives you that skills the gem (or gems) socketed in it will disappear.

Skill in question: SORCERY WARD (Merc ascendancy skill)
Level: 68
Place where it happened: The Hooded One - Ardura Caravan NG+ (Cruel)
Support skill socketed that disappeared: +1 to all lightning skills

This happened to me too. Playing Invoker monk, took off unbound avatar with cold + fire mastery support gems equipped. Put unbound avatar back on and my support gems disappeared and now it wont let me equip the same support gems.

I disabled gemcutting and equipping restrictions in the game settings, too. It still doesn't let me re-equip the support gems.

Please let me know if you find a fix.

Same problem. Support gems on Unbound avatar just disappeared. Don't have problem with putting new gems like previous player.

Same problem here, invoker monk lvl 94 and wanted to change some asc nodes around so I unspecced Unbound Avatar without thinking about the support gems on it. Now the 3 element mastery support gems are nowhere to be found after respeccing Unbound Avater... what do we do? Help please devs

I just experienced this too. Can't use cold or lightning infusion now after respecing out of unbound avatar

same stormweaver sorc leve 57. lost all gems in elemental storm.. i guess i should have took them out. does anyone know if we can remake them?

This happened to me.
Invoker monk, unbound avatar. Lost all support gems after respeccing.

Had this happen today on my Sorc. Had a scepter and wand equipped, both with 2 support gems slotted into their associated spells. Swapped in a 2-hand staff and all 4 slotted support gems vanished.

The big problem isn't the loss of gems, it's that the game still thinks I have those support skills, so I can't replace them!

Is there a way to fix my character? Is there any tech support for this game currently?
