Tower radius on atlas

Everytime I use the map device/atlas map in my hideout the radius of towers will not show, ever.
After just getting a new character to maps I noticed that the radius shows after selecting towers on the map if I am in the refuge zone.
I also checked in other acts town zones and it shows there, so it seems to be a hideout issue, using limestone hideout.
