Endgame Couch CO-OP maps party leader

I (player 1) play couch co-op with my wife (player 2) on Xbox. We are unable to run endgame maps due to the game forcing P2 as party leader. Theres no way to promote me (player 1) as party leader. When player 2 opens the map, player 1 regains control yet ca not continue as they are not party leader.essentially hard locking endgame content. There is a work around found on Reddit, but if we get the ability to change party leaders we get a better overall user experience!

Same problem.

A map cannot be opened in local coop. It says "activation canceled" or "only the party leader can operate" but the party leader is stuck on the second player, who cannot use the map device. There is no way to change the party leader (it does not work).

The only work around is to open the map solo, then log out and log back in with the second player. A major hassle that I hope gets fixed asap! The gf and I were pretty devastated upon reaching maps at 130 hours only to face this. But hey, they can be played!

Same issue here. Somehow when a character is created it seems like it is determined if they will be the group leader or not in local coop?

I created a Sorc on day 1. My wife created a warrior on day 1.

The Sorc is always the group leader.

I created a Ranger a few days later and only played it solo for a few weeks.

When I try and group the Ranger with her warrior for some reason the Ranger is NOT group leader, the warrior always is and we have no way to switch it.

Same issue here my wife and I are playing on Playstation and it's doing the same thing. We made her player 1, which temporarily fixes it but that still doesn't resolve the issue 100%

Same issue here. Have to do a logout/ login dance for every single map just to open it.

(This is something like the 30th couch co-op specific bug we've found, CC needs some serious play testing!)
