Loosing energy shield on mana flask and gem swap

Every time I use a mana potion, my energy shield drops to zero then slowly recharges. Also, the same thing happens when I change support gems as well as trying to quality them. It seems to be registering something as damage, as you can see the blood on the edges on the screen proc when I perform one of these actions.

This is happening to me as well. There is no modifier that states this on any gear, or skill, gem, or support I have.

Same happens to me. Using my mana flask completely depletes my energy shield. (normal quality flask, tried several, don't have any passives or items that interact with it.)

There´s a solution to this? Having the same problem and it sucks ´cos i´m using Chaos Inoculation!

From this I was able to figure it out a work around. It's seems like a gear swap bug.

Seems like you are counted as not having a weapon when using a mana flask or something or something like that.

Ex: I have a weapon with +20int. Without that +20int I can't wear my body piece due to attribute requirements. My body piece is the source of all of my ES. Using mana flask results in going down to 0ES and 1HP. Interestingly I notice that the mana flask "flashes" a recovery window on the HP bar, but then it disappears immediately.

If I change my passive tree so I have enough INT for body piece w/o weapon then I can use mana flask w/o issue.
