Weapon Swap
Dear GGG,
the weapon swap mechanic requires a quality of life update. At the moment, when deciding to go for weapon swap you can only do so with 2 seperate active skills. I would love to play the same Skill on booth weapon sets, so one can be used for map clear and the other for single target dps, but your new system doesn't allow it. All you can do is decide in your "G"(Skills) menu which weapon set should be used when using this skill. My suggestion for an QoL upgrade for this swap system would be: Add an option into your skillbar to choose the coresponding Weapon Set. (Not into "G" menu but like in PoE 1 the option of using the skill without moving.) This would result in you being able to bind the same skill to different Buttonbindings and those exact bindings can be set up to be used with Weapon Set 1 or 2, meaning you could use the same skill but with different weapon setups. You can use the same skill you just have to bind the related skill to different buttons. or maybe that just works for crossbow shot and different ammo dunno, but it works for me at least.

But can you use the same Granade skill with 2 different weapon sets? And have the new weapon swap system swap your weapons without you having to press weapon swap yourself?

" What they're asking for is not being able to use two different copies of the same skill. They want the exact same skill - say Flash Grenade in Skill Slot 1 - to be able to be bound to use with Crossbow #1 on keybind 1, then Crossbow #2 on keybind 2. I'll admit, I cannot see a super valid use case for this. A single skill is going to be good at clearing or bossing based mostly on how its support gems are laid out; the weapon doesn't change the skill's behavior, it simply determines the total damage/power output of the skill. Something like "I want to use a crossbow that does a bunch of fire damage with Explosive Grenade and a crossbow that has a lot of poison modifiers with Gas Grenade" is valid, but I cannot see how simply witching crossbows would make Explosive Grenade change behaviors in such a way as to make it good for bossing and/or clearing. |

" On thefirst glance it does not look like you can swap your weapons with a grenade skill, you would have to swap first otherwise with x or crossbow shot As is said i jsut do it with crossbow shot there i get one individually for the second weapon... Judging from my Experience in PoE 1 there are wepons that result in more single target dps and there are weapons more centered around map clearing, could be uniques could be rares. Fact is there are differences between booth. I want to use the same skill for booth occasions and have the new swap system work properly instead of still having to press X myself.
My suggestion is to move the Weapon Set preset from the G menu into the Skillbar so you would be able to do so. |

weapon swap to build swapping.. its better like in ragnarok online.. u can swap different gear in just using button.. to accommodate boss fighting or mob fighting..

I'm used to weapon swaps like in other games. If you change weapons it automatically maps the existing keys to the other skills/abilities. LT mouse now is crossbow ,swap mow it's cast spell. That's how it should be done. Not this single key to skill thing.
