Activation failed. Invalid map specified

I get the message "Activation failed. Invalid map specified" when trying to put a tablet into a tower I recently cleared.

Same...could someone fix get an answer for that issue already? Sometimes I also cant put tablets in towers because it says "Map in progress", even tho I just finished it successfully

Was clearing maps as usual. Cleared a tower, tried to put a Precursor Tablet in and hit Influence. It doesn't do anything with a chat error, "Activation failed. Invalid Map specified".

I tried a different Precursor Tablet, didn't fix it.

I went in to more maps and carried on, didn't fix it.

I restarted my game, didn't fix it.

Since then, I have cleared more towers and now I can't even open the Precursor Tablet window on the new towers, it's like a tower that's already had one applied where clicking it does nothing.

Similar behavior here. I can only open the window on a single tower (newly cleared towers aren't clickable); that one tower I can click, I can put a tablet into, but attempting to activate it fails with the same error as topicstarter.

Potentially relevant: I believe the only clickable tower actually already had a tablet used on it previously; I don't exactly remember, because I explored that area early and branched off into other directions before coming back (BTW, having a visual indicator of the tower having been used would be helpful), but I believe it was actually the first tower I ever used a tablet on.

UPD: After loading today, the clickable tower has changed. Still only one tower is clickable, it's affected by the same bug, and this one is definitely one I've used before (I believe the second ever). Tower that had this bug when originally posted isn't clickable anymore.
