Early mapping in PoE2 is exceptionally boring

I have finished roughly 50 maps after finishing campaign. And I wanted to say that was very boring experience.

There are a few things I dislike:
- In 50 maps I have only upgraded 1 essence wheel on the atlas tree. And it was not a strong buff, I cannot even guarantee it spawning to farm it without juicing.
Meanwhile in PoE 1 you can farm any content you want consistently simply by using "alch and go" and still farming the mechanic you like.
If it was PoE 1 with 50 points of atlas skills, I could guarantee the mechanic I like to spawn on every map and buff it significantly. In PoE 2 same number of maps provides you with one very generic wheel.
- Precursor's tablets are similar to scarabs but I only dropped 2 of them during my mapping, and those even were not for mechanics I would like to farm. So once again, since you can't invest into it on atlas passive tree you are obliged to trade for them, if you want to farm a certain mechanic even with the lowest possible investment.
- No atlas device crafting to farm what you want either.
- In this timeframe I played 1-7 tier maps. And through this time, I could not even upgrade any of the special wheels for specific mechanics, because they require higher tiers of maps. It just was too boring to go further, and I was not even sure how much more I had to play to buff it even a little bit.

In conclusion: you can't consistently farm content you like and even if you do, it will take you a long time before you get even the first upgrade. This is why I dropped PoE 2 endgame even though I enjoyed campaign quite a lot (even if I dislike the new crafting system and my minions were constantly getting stuck).

It's true that mapping is horrible in PoE2, but to be fair if you have only done t1-t7 you are so far behind even touching actual endgame. Finish all the map quests. Actually do 20+ t15s, and then make this post.

Bullshit. Nothing change. I did like 200 T15 if you want to gate me too. Why you even lying to him?

Man, I have all achievements in this game, and I have 6 leagues where I have done 40 challenges. Kalandra was one of my favorite leagues even though most people hated it. Grinding is not the issue for me.

This is precisely the point, farming/grinding/crafting was not fun at all after finishing 6 acts. I don't grow bored at regular PoE leagues, but I did here. You don't see any actual objectives; you cannot farm the content you like; you cannot make meaningful crafting investments (not just gambling). Maybe after you get to tier 15 it becomes fun, OK, maybe, IDK, did not try.

Then I can rephrase that map progression is not fun and does not feel like progression at all? Like I said, around this time in PoE you could fight Black Star, you could fight Endless Hunger, you could consistently fight content you prefer. In PoE 2 you have none of that.
And why is this a problem for Path of Exile 1 Feedback?
Love the games. PoE1 way more so than PoE2, but still enjoying both.

Hate the company. The scummy, lying, fake and shitty facade, the excuses, the failures, and most of all, the "Vision".

Keep both of those in mind when reading my posts.

I created this all the way back in December and this forum section was just called Feedback so that seemed like an appropriate place to go.
