Trial of Chaos Statue Stopped Moving

During an Escort the Statue Trial tonight, the Statue temporarily stopped moving. Moving away from the Statue caused it to drop back to the ground, after which it functioned normally.

Same thing just happened to me. Statue stopped moving; I thought I'd have to start the trial again. But moving away and coming back allowed the statue to start moving again.
