Restart Bug

While playing on the ps5, I have noticed a weird bug. When I die (What I do alot) sometimes there is no Restart Button. It looks like I can click stuff and I see icons moving. But I can't restart at a checkpoint. I have to totally exit out of the game and then start it back up
