PoE2: Transition Issues Between Act 3 Normal and Act 1 Cruel

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to report an issue I encountered while playing Path of Exile 2 that seems to involve transitions between acts and time portals.

After completing Act 3 Normal, I had a full inventory and used a Town Portal (TP) to sell and dismantle items before returning to pick up the loot from the final boss. However, upon using the time portal after selling my items, I was unexpectedly transported to Act 1 Cruel.

At this point, I had no way to retrieve the item drops from the Act 3 final boss. When I entered the town in Act 1 Cruel, I attempted to use the waypoint to return to Act 3 Normal. After selling/dismantling my items again, I re-entered the time portal, but it once again sent me back to Act 1 Cruel.

To avoid the walk back to the first encampment in Act 1 Cruel (which I had already reached previously), I tried using another TP, but this time it sent me back to Act 3 Normal. However, when I arrived, I noticed the Act 3 Normal waypoint was missing or bugged.

This series of transitions felt inconsistent and likely isn’t intended. I thought you might want to investigate this further. If there’s any additional information I can provide to assist, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Bump, same thing happened to me and it was really frustrating.

I hadn't even talked to the npc in the boss room to complete the quest, boss loot all on the floor, opened a portal to empty my inventory, crossed the time portal and bam! suddenly I'm at the beginning of act 1 cruel and now way to go back to the boss room...
