Loot
"Less, but more meaningful loot"
That's what they said, and I think a lot of players went "spot on". They nailed one of the two: The "less" part. Now, I've only just reached act 3 and I'm still enjoying the gameplay. My character slowly feels better and more powerful, and one of the things I loved about PoE 1, was that you started as a weak nobody and could really feel the progression as your character got stronger. That said... I don't know how GGG defines "meaningful", but reaching act 3, I haven't found a single rare item I wanted to equip. Not a single one. And during act 2, I think I found enough rare items to make ONE regal orb. Loot needs to be somewhat improved. And no, I do not want PoE 1 levels of loot where you need a lootfilter just to stop your computer from having a seizure. But bosses (and even act bosses) not dropping a single rare (or in some cases, not a single magic) item, is a little bit outside of what I call "meaningful". The difficulty is fine. The pace is fine. The bosses are (mostly) fine. But I don't feel we have the tools to gear our character. While crafting is probably a good thing, I think drops should be your main source of gear progression - at least during the campaign. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you. Zuletzt angestoßen am 03.02.2025, 02:32:13
