Portals disabled during a boss fight bug

After completing a boss fight (King in the Mists, Freythorn in this case) and dying, I am unable to open a town portal.

Steps:

1. Fight boss
2. Near end of fight, get a damage over time effect
3. Kill boss
4. Die at just as the 'fight complete' is registered.
5. Upon reviving at the nearby checkpoint, be unable to open a portal as the character is still flagged as 'in combat with boss.'

I've not attempted to verify if this is reliably reproducible.

i had this exact thing just now, not sure i got +30 spirit either. Tried the whole thing in a new instance, and the King doesnt show, but there are swirling mists around the central pillar. Now without the +30 spirit i have other problems
