Poe2 Ancient Vows Quest: Unable to insert relics into altar.

I have both relics in my inventory and at the altar. When I try to drag the relics into the altar the altar's inventory goes away and will not open again while holding the relic. Unable to progress quest further.

It's because you have pressed Z to hide loot. Holding alt does work as well. Even after you have the relics in you have to hold alt to select a buff or just press Z and it will stay up like it is supposed to.
