Hey there - welcome to POE!
I'm not a Toxic Rain expert, but I took a second to look at your characters gear and some of it is quite bad - that's normal! It takes some practice to start to understand what is "best in slot" for each build and what properties affect what skills. Your bow: It's a bow base with an implicit "25% increased Elemental Damage with Attacks". Toxic rain scales with your physical damage, as it converts 60% of it to chaos damage. Chaos is _not_ elemental damage, so I believe this implicit is simply useless for you. Your gloves: These have three very bad tiers of affixes, 1.1 Life/sec, 8% Fire Res, 6% Cold Res. For example, if each of these were Tier 4 ("T4"), you could have 25 Life/sec, 35% Fire Res and 35% Cold Res. That said, Gloves are one of the easiest places to get added flat damage like "Adds X to Y Physical Damage to Attacks". I suspect this stat is really important to your build. Even small values like "3 to 6" may not seem like a lot, but these values are added very early in the calculation, before any "x% increased damage with bows", "x% increased chaos damage", "x% increased damage over time", etc. from your passive tree, and before the "60% of physical damage is converted to chaos damage" of your Toxic Rain skill. A quick way to see the impact of this would be to place a pair of gloves with this stat on them on your character and look at the character panel ("C")'s offense tab with your main skill(s) selected and look at lines like "Main Hand Combined Damage". Lastly your resistences: You currently have 73% Fire, -15% Cold and -30% Lightning resist. Generally speaking you want to keep these at 75% across the board to survive any 'end game' content. One thing you can do is use your crafting bench in your hideout since a lot of your gear has open prefixes/suffixes -- suffixes can be used to shore up those resistances, or you might consider making a trade for a better piece of gear. There's a lot more opportunity in your build for improvement, hope this shines a light on some of it! |
