Help me with tree please! Detonate Dead Chieftain.

I'm currently level 75 and went detonate dead chieftain. It's working great, but had a quick question about the skill tree.

Do I need to finish out the tree, then put in the large clusters? Or do I need to work on one of the clusters first?

Hello, bit late here, but, I am running a fulcrum DD chief and worked in large clusters around level 75-80, but had some of the smaller core gems, like bloodnotch in earlier, since they are only a point or two. I maxxed chaos resist with a snall cluster though ASAP leaving acts. Feel free to PM with questions, but just now learning the build. Clearing T16 maps easy though with heavy wisps. Cheers!
