[Monitor for PoE] What can I do to improve and what do you use?

Hey guys,

wasting time in the new league looking for a new monitor. Played on a TV til now, but I recently bought a desk.
Now, I tried the LG 32GK850G.

+27"-32" and NOT curved/21:9
+VA Panel (Can't stand the IPS crystal rainbow glitter)
+Picture quality is good. Not as excellent as the TV but it's not a big difference.
+Text is readable and
+it's PWM-free.

But there are a few things that are not how I wanted them to be:
1. I don't like the red coloured elements. Can't get used to it ;)
2. Motion handling in PoE is good, but I think it can be better?
--> Letters of the items seem a bit blurry if you're running fast, even on 144Hz with Overdrive. No difference to my 100Hz TV.

(my eyes can't stand the strobe light of an ULM-feature, so this is no possibility)

Do you know a excellent VA-monitor that is great for playing PoE and got a more black/grey design maybe?

What do you use?
(I treid some things under 144Hz and I can't use any of it because everything is blurry like hell.)

Thank you!

Hope this is the right corner, because in fact it is related to the game. ;D

I use the ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q

It's 21:9 with a very shallow curve, 100hz and POE is gorgeous on it. I'm not sure how I ever played without 21:9 to be honest.

Here was a short clip so you can see 21:9

You really need a bright one, this is one of those games without a brightness slider. You really REALLY have to prepare your machine for PoE because it has close to 0 options to adjust to your system.
I've never seen a VA panel without ghosting so I never pay them much attention, sorry.

Not sure what you mean with the "IPS crystal rainbow glitter". I've used IPS displays since forever and I can't imagine what you're talking about here. :)

I'm using the Asus PG279Q, which is a 27" 2560x1440 panel @165Hz. Colours are great but not overly saturated like on many "gaming" displays so it may appear a bit dull if you compare side by side with something else. Text is very clear and crisp and there is no ghosting whatsoever. It comes factory preset as WAY too bright though so you need to spend some time going through the settings. This accounts for most reports of it having excessive IPS glow, which it really hasn't when you configure it properly.

PoE looks great on it, and with G-Sync it's fluid and snappy as long as the servers don't misbehave.
