New instance means DC for me
|
Hi,
When I go into new instance latency bar keeps going flat shape then disconnects me from server without error message. I have this problem since last patch, I couldn't level my character in new league because of this issue. **For example in new instance has water, water flows animation I can see but my character stops, can't move. **Also my standart chars have same problem after new patch. **If I keep clicking mouse button after I go into new instance, somehow it loads in 9-10 secs and I am able to play in this instance. (but this is temporary solution right, not permanent) **Tried many things: re-install poe, re-install steam version, re-install client version, updated my graphic card driver, added --noasync to launch options, checked content of pack... result ZERO. Hope to have your replies soon. Zuletzt angestoßen am 13.03.2019, 23:19:26

Can you please go into your Path of Exile installation folder and open in the logs folder the Client.txt, and copy and paste the last couple/probably more than a handful of lines via pastebin.com (makes for easier reading).
I don't know exactly what we are looking for (I am not GGG) but we are looking for lines from your last session with 'disconnect' and 'instance server' The line of connecting to an instance looks like this: Date Time Number Connecting to Instance Server at IP ADDRESS:PORT " Could you also double check with WinMTR that your connection the gateway is a ok? GGG: MTR and Connectivity Issue Primer https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1377789/page/1#p11291009 Let WinMTR run a couple of minutes so we get a lot of packets to send (300-500). And then post the report txt via pastebin.com (makes for easier reading). PS: Does this also happen when using other gateways, rather than your preferred gateway? Feel free to lend your voice to the 96 page thread of people with similar issues that GGG are studiously ignoring.

@ Corvonas thanks for the link, it seems it is a known intermittent and selective issue with GGG servers
@ billdoorstam35 The WinMTR looks fine. To be able to escalate it further yourself to techsupport @ grindinggear.com please do the following: (1) Do a WinMTR for a couple of minutes to the gateway (collect 300-500 packets send) and save it via a pastebin.com url. (2) Log in to POE, log in via the same gateway, force the DC again. Go into the client.txt and put into WinMTR the last instance IP your were connected to and got disconnected from. From the Client.txt you posted, in this case, was 74.116.3.200 " And let WinMTR run with the last instance IP for a couple of minutes to collect again 300-500 packets of results. Post this WinMTR txt report also into a pastebin.com url document. Send these two reports and a link to this thread to techsupport. Don't forget to also provide your ISP name, details about your home network setup may be as well (eg do you use wireless or ethernet to your internet router https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1377789/page/1#p11291009 ) and your location (City, Country) and the local time you did the two tests. The rest is up with GGG techsupport/server guys (eg looking into the server protocols, or doing a reverse test, idk). I personally can't help you any further with that.
