Dx11 is unplayable AND looks worse.

Edit again: look that the FPS... Performance > Graphics. Dx11 has neither.

I've paid money to play PoE, multiple times.
Making the game unplayable is essentially scamming.

The game was playable (using Directx9), you made it unplayable.

Your performance testers are horrid at best.
Stop feeding the community lies saying that Dx9 and low graphics doesn't improve performance.

Diablo 2 looks and performs better than what I just tried to play.

In the past I have been able to do many things in PoE using Direct x9, such as kill Uber Elder on multiple characters, get to level 100, win a alt art demi with a 99 ssf chara. Directx11 makes the game unplayable, even with the minimum possible settings...

That's not DirectX 11; it's Dynamic Resolution.

You can disable it in the settings menu.

Dynamic Resolution is from DirectX11.
And the reason why it looks like that is because the game needs to for it to function.

If I disable Dynamic Resolution the game would run even worse.

I get it, you're trying for a forums highscore, but try not to post if you don't know what you're talking about.

Even with dynamic resolution you're not able to get a good FPS. why they just have removed dx9 so suddenly. It was so good to be playing with +140 FPS...

just disable dynamic resolution.
games does not have to go down in graphics just cuz you have a bad setup.

The point of this thread is not how it looks, look at the FPS.

When I say the game is unplayable, I don't mean how it looks. I mean the FPS tanks to 0, I get kicked to login constantly, having the game open for an hour causes huge issues.

dude this is not that graphic heavy game. if your pc cant run PoE at lowest maybe it shouldnt in the first place.

My PC can run things like Diablo 3 and Skyrim fine, and I WAS ABLE to play PoE, and I've spent money on PoE.
These changes are unnecessary and are essentially scamming me out of what I paid. I paid into a game that I COULD play.

And this game is very heavy, it's poorly coded. Try play any other ARPG.

You payed to support a free to pay game, you never paid to have the right to play anything, just pointing this out.


Now, are you sure that you have tried everything that was possible to run PoE properly ?
Have you asked in the gameplay help section of the forum ?
Have you had any particular bug to report since you've tried DX11 ?


PS : Skyrim has not been a reference for powerful computers for a long time, I don't think that Diablo III is either to be honest.
