How does chance to evade and evasion rating work ?

Hi guys,
I would like to know how does chance to evade and evasion rating work.
thx
Anyone know ? what's evasion rating ?
Evasion is checked against an enemies accuracy. The higher an enemies accuracy: the higher the chance to be hit. The higher your evasion: the higher chance you have to evade the attack. When you evade an attack, the damage is negated. Note that evasion is only effective vs attacks and not spells.

There is no x evasion = y chance to evade because it varies vs each individual enemy. Higher level enemies have a higher accuracy, so you need to keep a high evasion rating if you want to have a good % chance to evade.

can a person evade attacks repeditivly or is there a downtime before you can evade another attack like shields.

For "Chance to Evade", you can evade repetitively. Evasion however uses an entropy counter such that if you had 60% (actual) evasion, you would always evade 6 out of 10 hits. Or to make it clearer, if you had 50% it will always be hit, miss, hit, miss.

That is not to say the posts thus far aren't helpful, but I find that the mechanics thread has a lot of good info you'll want to know in it (Including how evasion works). Good luck!
