Death's Opus/Hopeshredder Ice shot (4 different builds)

This is my first guide, and I'm writing it up because of how confident I am with the Death's Opus, Ice shot Tank. The other 3 are concepts based on the same idea.

Death's Opus, Ice shot Tank
Spoiler

Pros
Spoiler

•Incredibly Tanky
•Decent damage
•Can do all map mods
•Cheap, most expensive gear is if you want a +1 quiver
•Flexibility with changing some tankiness to dps for standard
•Hardcore viable

Cons
Spoiler

•Not the fastest map clear, can use a queen of the forest to help this
•Not tested against shaper
•Rough mana issues, I wouldn't recommend using essence worm until you get the mana reservation nodes near ranger
•Can be Chrome hungry (depending on what auras/curses you use)
•QOL issues, (Not the fastest, can be fixed by going raider or using queen of the forest....Mana/Reservation issues, can be fixed by gear and changing a few points on the tree)

Gear
Spoiler

•Bow = Death's Opus

•Quiver = Maloney's Nightfall
Helmet/Body Armour/Gloves/Boots = Life/resistances/evasion/Mana(quality of life)

•Amulet = +1 Curse implicit (Corrupt), that is the most important thing, if you can get Life/Res/WED (Ele Damage with weapons)/increased cold damage that is ideal

•Ring = WED (Elemental damage)/Life/Res/Attack speed/Cold Damage

•Ring 2 = Essence worm

•Belt = Same as Rings/Amulets (Movement speed is a personal preference) Most builds use Stygian Vise belts currently.

•Flask 1 = Health Flask (Sacred) Preferably with anti freeze/shock/curse

•Flask 2 = Taste of Hate (If you don't have the currency, use a Quicksilver or Stibnite Flask in replace, I'd recommend Stibnite because of the synergy with the quiver)

•Flask 3 = Dying Sun (If you don't have the currency, use LMP/GMP/Volley instead of hypothermia)

•Flask 4 = Atziri's Promise

•Flask 5 = Diamond Flask

•Jewels = 2x Omen on the winds ---- Other 3 you can use Abyss jewels with bow damage/life or generic jewels with percent max life/cold damage/resistances/attack speed

Conclusions/Thoughts
Spoiler

This build is definitely hardcore viable, Merciless Izaro was killed at level 61 with this build, at the start of act 8. The damage is flexible with the next guide, for example, swapping in wrath for grace, or changing one of the 2 defensive curses to either proj weakness/frostbite/assassins mark can greatly improve DPS. This build does have quality of life issues, mainly with clear speed and mana reservation, however, there are ways to get around this comfortably. The build can be cheap, excluding 2 flasks and if you want a +1 quiver.

You can go raider or pathfinder depending on personal preference, both give you status immunity and help with clear speed/move speed, but you lose a lot of damage.

seems interresting, any changes you'd think of after all those ascendancy changes?
Yep, here are the pastebins

https://pastebin.com/jsxCeQw7 -> Death's Opus DPS (edited for 3.2)

https://pastebin.com/Xfda3Bc0 -> Death's Opus Tank (edited for 3.2)

https://pastebin.com/MRt6eyka -> Hopeshredder DPS (edited for 3.2)

https://pastebin.com/HNBb3GyN -> Hopeshredder Tank (edited for 3.2)

I haven't fleshed out the gear on any of these builds, so depending on the currency you invest, the hopeshredder tank should be fine on DPS with fairly basic gear, but it is lacking compared to the death's opus. That said with investment (in theory) the hopeshredder should outscale the death's opus, with things like +1 frenzy charge on darkrays
