Serious sound issues

After downloading the last patch, audio went nuts ! Lots of sounds have simply disappeared, especially objects manipulation in the inventory. All I here is combat, environnement and music.

And there is a constant, extremely annoying noise in the background. :(

There are definitely some sound issues at the moment. I did a run through the waterfall cave yesterday, and sounds were fine at first. However they started to disappear over time, the longer I stayed in the area until finally there were no sounds at all, only the background music.
