Black screen anyone??!

Hey guys I need someone to help me fix my problem, it has never ever happened before and I don't know why it happened now.

So once I start the game up from my steam loader, all I see is just a black screen. I can see the mouse cursor and even hear the game music, heck I can even log into my account by pressing "enter" a couple times. All that but still just a black screen?

I run an I7 6700HQ processor and 16gb ram just purchased over a month ago. I'm sure it isn't my specs as I have never encountered this problem. I have also uninstalled the game and reset my pc, but still no luck.

Any suggestions or help??

You know what bSun0000, the solution worked! But you know what is weird? The fact that all I did was change direct x to 11, BUT I changed it back to direct x 9 and it works still, meaning nothing was changed at all?!? I really don't get how the problem happened when I changed it to 11 and back to 9 originally.

Anyhow thank you so much for the solution, I appreciated your effort in helping.
