Cast when stunned + Skyforth

So iv been busy chancing every sorcerer boot i can get my hands on in order to get a skyforth because i have the perfect idea for a build.

Fully life based cast on stunned RF. With as little ES as possible, we should get stunned from every hit. Auras on a wand and rf on the RotP leaving room for 14 cast on stunned spells(perhaps more with lucky vaals).

Anyone tried such a build before and having any pointers?

and how do you achieve low stun threshold with skyforth? volls protector?

now when you gain 6 mana per level, with some base, intelligence and mana on boots themselves it would be hard to have less than ~700 max mana endgame -> 3500 stun threshold, which is not so low to rely on stuns..

+

= 65% reduced mana.

I figure around 600 base mana from int and levels. roughly 200 mana *500% of the skyforth = 1k. Lower stun threshold than any other build can do, even CI.

500 damage hits should auto stun me. Which seems about average for mid level mapping.

I dont know for sure though. Guess we will only truely know how it works out when i actually manage ito get a pair.

yeah, that could work

the question is how it would perform against single target or slow big hitters

Why not just blood magic.

could be.. But it also could work similar to CI, where the effects counting with max life use the life value as It would be without CI

should be easy to test

Funny idea. To deal with slow hitting monsters, you could use scold's briddle with incinerate, to constantly hit yourself.

Also, if you dont feel like you are getting stunned enough, you could try these with warlords mark:

Having warlords mark on, is not too much of a downside, and you could combine it with the unique jewel that increases your damage for every curse you have.

Just a last node. Would you really want to go RF with no life regeneration from the boots? I would not like that playstyle, especially when you depend on so many uniques that does not have life on them.

What about the rat cage chest? Does that work with CWS?
I don't get it. Valyrium achieves an even lower stun threshold and is much, much cheaper. What's so special about Skyforth that it would justify multiple exalts and chest/gloves pressure when Valyrium can do the job better?

(I would link Valyrium here because I use it for permanent self stun on my Cast when Stunned Life build, but I can't reach that character slot on mobile.)

Rings have much more potential than boots do, even just looking at a Rare. Compared to Skyforth, you lose out on... maybe 100 base ES? A bit of Resists?
Valyrium actually has net-negative Resists, and you lose out on potent modifiers such as 15-20% Increased ES, 30-45% Weapon Elemental Damage, +30 flat Ele Damage, Crit Chance, 15-20% faster start of ES Recharge..

Valyrium already costs a much more valuable item slot, but it also doesn't come with free PCoC forever and almost an Alpha's Howl on top.

If you just want to mitigate Stuns, Valyrium is fine. Skyforth is a million miles better though.
(fun fact: I chanced a Skyforth today, as a joke)

EDIT: Oh I forgot this was a silly thread for a second.
Uh.
Iunno.
PCoC is still really fucking good.

All it does is increase the amount of Damage you take, so, yes?

Note that any Damage can Stun, not just Physical.
