Poll = Your Most and Least Favorite Areas in PoE!

HATE - ACT 3.

I don't like a lot of act3 like many others have stated. It's just worse than the other 2 acts.

That said... the WORST zone in any ARPG I can remember has to be imperial gardens / hedge maze. It is the capital city of the Republic of Desync. It also just blows in general.

Favorite - The first zone as you enter act 2. That forest is nothing but Monkey Holocaust. I hate monkeys!

Most: Ancient Pyramid
Least: Lunaris Temple 1 I mean, ribbons, really?

I hate the super tight corridors and caves. I am a summoner and my spectres always seem to get caught up in an alcove behind me and I can't get to to me without running ahead into danger or hoping that casting my curses over and over will guide them to the correct place.

I like everywhere else though. I just stick to areas and maps that are more open.

Most fav: southern forest

Least fav: sarn slums

From leveling by playing all zones once each, across several characters...

Most Favorite: Chamber of Sins. Representing lots of good dungeon crawls (prison, crematorium, crypt, catacombs, pyramid...).

Least Favorite: Riverways. Representing all the utterly boring act 2 outdoors areas. And the horrible stretch from Brutus to Cavern of Anger. Honorary mention, Warehouse District, it is just annoying.

Fav: Ledge
Worst: Act 3, especially the maze to have a correct answer

I don't really like any act 3 areas. My preferred model come from Borderlands 2. You have an increase from normal to the next level. That next level progresses through the storyline to where you get the highest level monsters in the game and finish. Then comes the third level where every area in the game contains max level mobs. It's like all of that level is the highest area maps.

I've always thought it would be great if your char said something upon entering the Forest Encampent like, "Damn...that was a lot of monkeys!"

least favourite: orchard map
