Most favorite:
Lunaris 3 Great ambiance, pretty good monsters density (meaning good xp & drops), several garanted blues mobs packs, and a nice boss fight at the end. Best off-map place to xp/ farm for uniques and alts. Least favorite: Imperial gardens Really a nice place visually, though the monsters density is bad, plus it's pretty risky area for the reward, you keep backtracking all the time and get near to 0 xp. I usually just skip this place getting wp from other players + rush. Also the area is obstructed by many objects making difficult to use many aoe skills. I enjoy large open areas for massive aoe slaughter. ps: I dislike even more the map version of imperial gardens. None map area:
Most favorite: Ledge, straight, fast, zone boss. Least favorite: blackwoods, dark, scary, maze, few mobs, and freaking devourer maps: most favorite: lvl 71 strand, reasonable exp, cheap, straight, fast, easy boss, no back track least favorite: lvl ? labyrinth, infinite back tracking, half an hour and i only cleared 75% of the map, i plat as ranger so i can't use leap slam or whirling blades. |

For me...
act 1 = most fun act 2 = fun act 3 to piety = okay............. act 3 piety to dominus = ........................... :/ I still prefer closed beta where there was 4 difficulties and only 2 acts. Favorite Zone - The Wetlands (previously Pools and Streams). I love the sunshafts in this zone and the beautiful simplicity of it, but it's a shame it's so dark the first time through. Springs, using the same tileset, is one of my favorite maps as a result.
Least Favorite - Hedge Maze. Fortunately this zone is a one-off and optional as well. But, as proven by the Labyrinth map, it's a pain in the ass to navigate and the inherent fauna are some of the more bothersome mobs Wraeclast has to offer. Desync is also a huge issue here, especially if a devourer happens to spawn in the middle of a chokepoint. |
