Occultis vs Trickster for Bane/Soulrend?

" Bane is pure dot, it'll never leech. Both Essence Drain and Soulrend have direct damage components which could leech if you want to build around that. But if you build them up for dot damage their dot component doesn't leech* *Essence Drain does give 0.5% of the dot as life regeneration, but that is a regeneration effect and as such you take Zealot's Oath to make it apply to ES. |

" Scion used to be used solely for ED chars, which was sort of weird. I'd say its a matter of playstyle now. I think occcultist looks better in terms of energy shield. If however you want to go the life route, trickster is absolutely crazy with the HP renerated from essence drain giving you an absolutely bonkers regen. |
