being proud of getting ban for being a moron, it tells everything about the dude. This league design is just bad, even worse if you are playing HC. You just can't run high quantity maps long term without dying atleast 1 time per level at 90+++. I'm glad i didn't play Delve, so i can enjoy that content. But Betrayal is a terrible league, as bad as Bestiary. This is quite shocking to do the delve design league and then this... 6k5 hp, soon 8k. 4k5 leech/s as slayer and i'm getting 1 shotted. I don't care about dying if i feel i fucked up, and that's not the case. |

" You're wearing a tabula. I'm all for balanced content, but when people with this type of gear is saying the league mechanic is "too overtuned" it's impossible to take it seriously. Is the content hard? yes. Is that bad? no. It's nice to have a league that is scary for once. If you can't deal with red map syndicate than maybe your character isn't perfectly balanced (offense/defense) yet. Stop crying and keep working on your character until you get there. The POE community as a whole has been crying about how easy the game is now. GGG puts in a CHALLENGING mechanic that is in a CHALLENGE league and all of the sudden all of the crybabies that THOUGHT they knew how to make a good character start crying. FACT: If you can't handle syndicate (at whatever level they are one-shotting you) then you aren't doing something right. YOU aren't doing something right. The game is fine. |

Sorry white knights, but the moment when you have to criticize every single piece and then reply with ''THAT'S WHY YOU ARE DYING!'' you already lost the argument. The fact it, the content is overtuned. Take a look at the fortification where the mobs are respawning constantly, drop nothing and prevent the doors from getting destroyed, the towers that cannot be targeted and still deal a lot of damage as well as the syndicate members + whoever gets summoned as well. The moment when you need perfect gear to deal with Syndicate members just for the content to be bearable you know there is a big issue. What about lab that encourages suiciding (rushing through mobs to get to the boss or the syndicate evidence gets destroyed)? That was not well thought. I'm using a tabula because i was getting one shotted with my kaoms.
So i prefer to have a 6l and focus on fast clearing. Even with 8k hp i'm getting 1 shotted. Everybody is avoiding melee build since you are getting one shotted, do you feel it's a good game design? It's not challenging at all, it's jsut bad design. Having one shotted mechanic can be a good thing, when it's avoidable. That's not the case. The league isnt scary at all, since the risk reward is bad it's better to avoid the league mechanics. Do you feel it's good design? Just watch rip video on youtube for god sake, and see how people are getting killed off screen. As i said, dying isn't the issue, the mechanic is. Dark souls is hard, most people suck at it but if you are good you can finish the game without life. How the fuck i can kill uber elder with 5k life and getting 1s at level 90 off screen? And omfg, if you enjoyed the game just play it and enjoy this league. Let people complain if they feels something is wrong, games get better because of complaining not because of yes men. I spent like 3k dolls supporting this company, playing since beta, so please. Don't talk about challenge, when the game went super casual and noob friendly. Mechanics are bad, it's not about difficulty. |

You guys have issues need to armor and chaos up. That what these guys do mainly. They never bothered me and thats not why I don't like this league. After all invasion was my favorite league with one shots galore. Made syndicate look like white skellies.
It's just mechanics that slow down gameplay. I like things simple, fast 1 min maps kill shit get loot. Simple. None of these mechanics that slow down that. Like tossing nets back in bestiary like playing around with these syndicate ppl. It;s like putting speed bumbs on the highway. Lame. The best league have fast continuum of play. " Everyone is avoiding melee because melee got nerfed with stat stick removal and no real compensation outside of being able to craft 450pdps 1 handers with some certainty. Melee has always been the games stepchild since the game does not reward you in anyway for being in melee range. Melee does less damage then spells for some weird reason even though you have to be right in front of an enemy to deal damage. Is this good game design? No probably not... but that doesn't mean the league is bad. It means melee is bad (or at least not AS good) and I actually agree with that sentiment. |

" You don't need perfect gear to deal with syndicate ffs. There are some fights that require kiting. Some that require you to abandon the fight because map mods make the members too crazy. This is intended. POE players have been spoiled with league mechanics since Perandus that are easily toppled by all characters... even bad ones. I didn't lose any argument, because frankly there is no argument. If player A is dying to syndicate all of the time and player B rarely dies to syndicate, then player B is doing something correctly that Player A is not. This is not up for some sort of weird interpretation of "good vs bad" players or gear. There is a person in this thread arguing about how difficult the league mechanic is with 2800 life and uncapped resistances in maps. Should this person's opinion be taken with the same weight as other people's? Nobody is whiteknighting. POE players don't like hearing the fact that their character still needs to be min/maxed to work against this league mechanic. There are certain builds that don't work well in this league. Totems for the most part are super safe against 95% of content.. however put those totems in front of a door of a fortification full of minions all over the place? Well good luck getting the totems to target anything. Why not get a 4 link trap setup for doors? Why not adjust the build and stop blaming the mechanics. THe mechanics are SUPPOSED to be challenging and you have to... wait for it... adjust your character so that you can MEET the challenge. IF the shit is too hard for you then play in standard... nothing is stopping you. |

" holy shit. are u kidding me ? one of the tankiest builds i ve ever build is melee :D they did not kill melee builds with 3.5 they just got rid of ridiculous dmg dealing shitlord weapons. and i am glad they did. if u think melee builds are weak, im sorry to tell you this but you know nothing about this game ^^ Trust your mind and strengthen your abilities!

" I wouldn't say they are weak... but they require much more time and investment than most any caster build (especially now). Any character can be good with enough gear/exalts put behind it. Melee is weaker that casters (overall) though that's for sure. |
