This is the first league I dislike so much I actually skip it.

IMO, the rewards aren't worth the time. I can farm the 30c for a scarab in the time I save skipping it.

I tried to like it, but It's just not fun for me.
I really hope they scrap this, I don't want to see this go into the core game.

If this is not the most accurate way to estimate that calculation, then no. I am at a loss. Sorry. Not a pro, bruh.

Since he will never tell you : the estimated physical reduction from armour depends on the incoming hit.

If a build renders the main game trivial, killed every boss from act 6 on in under 3 minutes, (tukohama being an exception due to force fields) can tear though main content without batting a sweat. Beats abyss crawlers in my sleep, But then encounters trash mobs with life totals and dps going past act bosses in endless spawns. And syndicate bosses dealing greater than kitava level damage in single all but unavoidable attacks. (google tora one shot, it's kinda entertaining) due to how their late game scaling is pretty much broken.

You died twice on a10 Kitava, you said it yourself.
That isn't what trivial means then.
You are playing a complete glass canon.
Try playing hardcore and see how far you're going to go, that is going to be the game telling you when your build sucks, in a more direct way.

If anything, the game has become too easy.
And we finally got some more challenging content, and it has already been nerfed.
No,
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
I am surprised you guys are expecting answers from rob, you might as well expect to win the jackpot. Ignore the troll and move on, he lives on salty tears and eats rants for breakfast.
I kinda agree with the title.

Done 34/40 without buying challenges on SC, it kidnda was and kinda wasn't fun. My current view of Betrayal

1. Betrayal encounters are punishing and way off when it comes to the regular content. Syndicante members in T1 when it comes to danger are on par with danger from T10 bosses. Sure, nothing to care about when you are 90+ and speedruning everything, but damn pain when lvl 75 tries to progress and level up.

2. as SC player, everything goes around economy. Betrayal is genuine crafting league, so many possibilities to craft great base items into OP shit at mirror level even for standard standards.
I am not interested in this kind of content at all. I don't like to farm just for the sake of burning currency, nor i like burning currency to make more currency (like jewel crafting, which seems to be very profitable)
So the whole emphasis on trading, doing rotas or scamming others of their items to make profit , i dislike that.

3. delves are stupid. Not the delves themselves but the content is gated behind some shitty Nico encounters in maps and with spread of 1-3 missions it's just silly. I won't comment on the low level delve farming as it's another level of stupid BS that exists in PoE.

Also, i have problem with skills in PoE. Maybe i am just burned, i have played almost everything at least once or twice over the years, but it seems that skill selection is starting to have less of an impact on the gameplay. For melee you basically go full retard attack speed and do everything. For spellcasters, doing dmg while moving seems to be the key for the league. Builds which cannot do this won't succeed.

To sum it up, Betrayal was fun in some moments, but tedious grind in most of my playtime.
I pretty much doubt i will finish my 36+ challenges for the league, as there is little to no motivation to continue playing. It is also connected to the lack of bugfixes during holidays period. Despite Betrayal being stable on release date when it comes to client and server performance, the overall QA missed so much shit.
I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me.

3.13 was the golden age.

That is grossly over-exagerating, really.

i think it's funny that one of the lasting complaints is that the league content is harder than the core content.

I've played off and on since launch. I've got between 6k and 8k hours into the game.

I haven't been this frustrated and annoyed with a league mechanic since that goddamned bleed snake kept chasing me down in Tidal Island until I quit the game for 6 months.

The entire Betrayal system is poorly designed from the ground up and on so many levels and I cannot believe that you've already decided it's going core before the league even launched.

1. Random 1-shots without visual inference
2. Constantly spawning mobs
3. A never-ending list of bugs which makes league mechanics harder to complete. Or even interact with.
4. Poor targeting for several skills
5. Constantly throwing more shit on the screen until you can't see wtf is going on.
6. A final boss that completely zeros out all of your progress whether you kill them or not. You cannot figure out the mechanics of a boss fight if you don't get at least steady exposure to the boss fight. And killing all of your progress after each boss fight makes the entire league feel like a Sisyphean task. And I'm not running fucking Ossuary for however many fucking hours just to do that bullshit all over again.
7. A never-ending list of unannounced changes or reverted features.
8. Lag.

. . . The safehouses are pretty cool, though. At least that's fun.

Let us not forget
9. WAY Too many syndicate encounters needed before you trigger a safehouse.
10. Syndicate encounters themselves are generally unrewarding (have a veiled item drop every encounter at least. Not from every syndicate member. I.e., if you engage 4 members, 4 veiled items should not be guaranteed to drop)
11) The safe-house rewards are 95% static regardless of the map lvl of encounters
12) Often times after an encounter you literally have no good option with a syndicate member, so you have to just skip it, and therefore receive no experience, no loot, no progress toward a safehouse. How many times have I run into Cameria alone in intervention and when I defeat her, my choices are imprison her or swap her out? We need a third perm option for executes/some other way to rank them up, or just a bargain that gives intel and makes them drop their loot... something... it is so frustrating to engage in the league mechanic and then have 100% nothing to show for it

lolz @ unrewarding.

i got 3 ex three times now. and the crafting mods are brokenly OP (+1 totem, extra curse, hits can't be evaded, cannot be frozen...)
