[3.2] Abyss Shripper feat. Chin Sol - Raider TS Barrage / 6k+ Life 3.8M Shaper DPS / Uber Elder Down

Hey lads, got pretty much the best I can get right now, im all out of currency but I'm thinking of going Deadeye instead but I can't seem to make deadeye do more damage than raider (seeing how I don't generate frenzy charges)

People keep saying you get a lot more dps as deadeye.

Anyone care to look at my shit and help out?

Well, easy I´d say. Grab the last 3pts jewel slot right down under Vaal Pact, get rid of the frenzy charge nodes, get Deadeye and go Endless Munition, Powerful Precision and Fast and Deadly. Accuracy capped at 95 unlike your 89% now. Smoother gameplay and be done? I went Deadeye from the get-go because Raider doesn´t look appealing to me. Killed everything but UBER Elder without any hassle and it´s a really smooth gameplay.

Bro, do you use aspect of spider skill ? if you use it how can u get enough mana for 3 auras ?

This is the most shit build.

Have like 10+ex invested and cannot do a tier 6 map without dying.

I put less than 2 ex into a sunder build and was doing t10 and uber lab.




Obviously I am not he richest guy , but I feel I should at least be able to farm comfortable with this amount of investment.

Throwing Ex at a build doesn´t fix stupid? :thonking:

I farmed Shaper with this build as Deadeye so yeh, not sure what´s your point.

I am pretty sure throwing ex at most builds fixes stupid.

Honestly a boss looks at you funny with this build and you are dead.

People have said it on the past pages as well

Ex to value in this build is poo poo.

It is to expensive compared to other builds that actually do not die easy as hell.

10ex + and tier 6-7 boss's are one shotting me lool.

If that build is meant to facetank content, yes than it fixes stupid. Else you need to comprehend the build you´re playing or you will fail. Aside from your well, average at best gear, it seems you don´t understand this playstyle at all. Again, I farmed endgame content with a variation of this build and had no problems/not dieing to anything. Yet, I didn´t try to facetank shit and with 5.3k life and not much defenses aside from dodging stuff I can´t even think about facetanking anything. Only exceptions are Minotaur, Hydra and Chimera who can´t touch me.

I would love to see your PoB, because I fear your HP is really, really low. This ranger build is different than other popular TS builds that rely heavily on queen of the forest and huge evasion stacking to never get hit. You need to build HP with this build, because even with real gg gear you end with only 36% evasion and low armour, because of using the 3 abyss uniques instead of 99percentile evasion items.

Just trying to be constructive here, but you haven't geared this character according to the guide.

You wasted almost an ex on +1 drillneck. Get a wed/critmulti/70+ life quiver.
Both of your rings and amulet have no life, change this. You don't even need a ton of flat damage on your rings. Start with simple 70life/dual res opal rings or even sapphire/topaz/etc rings.
Better resists on boots will help with losing the res on rings, and to be honest you can get more life on boots. 25ms/80-84life/30+/30+/30+res boots can be had for 25-40c, thats not a huge investment.
You need 2x abyssal sockets in your gloves, thats another 35-45 free base life you're missing.
Same goes for your belt, abyssal belt for more free life/damage. Notice you get 1% more life per Abyssal Jewel you have, from your chest.
Get rid of your life flask, use Atziri's promise. The chaos res and leech on chaos damage actually improves survivability. Drop oak for a Dying Sun once you've saved enough currency for even more damage.
Fix your magic flasks in general, all it takes a few alteration orbs or a beastcraft. You're not using a Silver flask for onslaught and you don't have curse immunity.
Two gems in your LA link are extremely low level(8 and 12). Getting all of your gems, in general, leveled up will get you a lot more damage.

All of these are really quick changes that will leave you with a ton more damage and life.

Edit: You should link your PoB or at least make your characters public if you want honest critique on what is wrong. I have a feeling you're quite low level(judging by gem level) and low life, and possibly don't even have your last ascendancy points yet(status ailment immunity is huge for survivability).

Hey, I looked at your pob. You added 119 points at 83, just to compare? Anyway, one mistake in the tree: take the bottom path to Revenge of the Hunted, save 1 dex node.

Your pob has you at 864k barrage/4707 life with the majority of your jewels being <one ele damage>/<life>/<utility or phys damage(aka no damage)>, this is what you need to fix. I don't know who's pob you copied over, but there are many great jewels (Unused) in the item tab. Put those on and you will see :D (spoiler, I put those on your char, and dying sun, and you're at 3.1m shaper dps with 5340 life @90).

Start with getting at least <damage>/<damage>/<life> jewels and two socket tombfist. Dying sun + crit multi anger watcher's eye are insane damage value for their cost. After that you can try to perfect jewellery and get a nice +1 quiver.
