[SUGGESTION] Official minimalistic UI and UI customization - no need for mods

No need for an ugly button.
Guess what, you aren't the first to say it. But the button is still there.

As I've now added in the OP: Refusing to implement an alternative, minimalistic UI would be a disservice to the community, and show a lack of faith. We spend the money we want to on microtransactions, regardless of if there is a [STORE] button present or not. We are reminded that there are new items available, and that there are sales through the General chat, on Facebook and on this very site. An optional UI that players have to activate themselves, does not hurt sales.

Do you not want an alternative to the current UI? It looks really dated. Your reply baffles me, as it makes no sense to stay silent if one does not agree with GGG, or if one wishes for a new feature or an addition. One needs to share ideas and come with some constructive feedback, not drown the forum in a pessimistic stream.

I have made a second mock-up:

This is more in line with the fantasy theme, and not 100% minimalistic.

I was just pointing out you're wasting your time. Even if minimalistic UI is somewhere in GGG's plans(which I doubt), it is definitely at the very end of that list. No amount of forum posting will change that.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
Make the UI Lua-based, let the community create the designs. All problems solved.

You will never be able to design a UI that satisfies everyone, with Lua-based UIs everyone can download and install his/her favorite version.

The only thing that people usually bring up against it are DPS meters, but those are not a consequence of Lua-based designs, but because the company explicitly allows them. If the interface code cannot read damage values, they cannot determine dps.

I like your suggestion. If GGG only opens up for customization of the visuals and placement, I do not see a problem. It should be easy to restrict properties, at least in theory.
