[SUGGESTION] Official minimalistic UI and UI customization - no need for mods
I would really like the option to remove all the unnecessary borders and buttons, and just have the skills, flasks and globes visible, and if possible: have the option to resize and rearrange said elements. Just have this as an option one has to enable, so that new players don't get lost when they don't have the additional buttons. Make it an official alternative to the classic UI, and you won't need mods.
On the subject of competitive fairness: this is fair, as all players have access to it, and there is no real advantage other than finding a layout that fits the individual player the most. There are no good arguments against this option for competitive play, as there are no unfair advantages or exploits present. Refusing to implement an alternative, minimalistic UI would be a disservice to the community, and show a lack of faith. We spend the money we want to on microtransactions, regardless of if there is a [STORE] button present or not. We are reminded that there are new items available, and that there are sales through the General chat, on Facebook and on this very site. An optional UI that players have to activate themselves, does not hurt sales. I think UI mods are best solution, but it can be improved without they too.
Like allowing all UI element to reposition, individually scale and turn off ( that last option for decorative elements only ). But major problem is current buffs / debuffs display. It's extremely bad. They need to be separated, and most deadly like bleed or shock need additional flashy warnings and maybe extra sounds. PoE UI is in stone age, is poor and bad in terms of ergonomics and information delivery. It's atrocious. And I dont even ask for advanced things like dmg log, recap, dps meter. ![]() Zuletzt bearbeitet von Elua#0230 um 10.09.2017, 15:52:23

"No "shop" button? Sorry, dude, that won't do. And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

" And why on earth would you need that for an alternative to the classic UI when you can just press M, and when GGG reminds you when there are new mirotransactions in the global chat? I see no reason why it should be included. It makes no sense, and pulls me out of the immersion. The menu button and the shop button look gaudy and out of place in an otherwise game-themed UI. The point of a minimalistic UI is to have as few elements as possible - only the essentials. Zuletzt bearbeitet von StigtriX#2839 um 11.09.2017, 03:12:13

"I don't need it. GGG, OTOH, apparently do. And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

I would like to get a scale slide for UI and slightly increased zoom out so i won't have to play with modded resolution in 2560x1080 on regullar 2560x1440 monitor.
I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

" I think the answer should be pretty obvious... that button is how they stay in business... U MAD?
|

" Not true. They stay in business because - first of all: the game is good - secondly: they are good at communicating when there are new items in the store. They do this through the Global chat and on Facebook. No need for an ugly button. This suggested UI is optional, and must be activated by the player. Beginners will see the classic UI at the start of the game anyway, so it's not like GGG looses anything. This would be a service to the community more than anything. An active community that already know about the store, and a community that uses money. |

"Guess what, you aren't the first to say it. But the button is still there. And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
