Hi there,
Do you receive any error messages when the game crashes? I recommend running a Pack Check. If this does not resolve the issue, please let me know and I will look into this further for you. |

Hi and thanks for the reply.
Yes I did the pack check and everything was fine. I also did a full reinstall of the game. Still getting exactly the same problem. running on Windows7 Ultimate E660 Dual core at 3ghz ATI 6670 2gb DDR5 3GB Ram I'm getting the crash every single time. I haven't even seen the Battlefronts so my gameplay is momentarily stuck. Zuletzt bearbeitet von PsychoBaBas#4295 um 03.08.2013, 10:44:47

I managed to pass through but the game is crashing constantly when I try to go from one level to another. I'm at Lunaris level 3 at the moment.
5 out of 10 times I'm getting crashes. |

If I trans into battlefront I will crash 95% of the time, always been that way from what I can remember. I get an 'out of memory' type error, string of pings with little error windows popping up, I tend to have to minimise and end the client from the task manager. (windows xp).
If I restart the game Im usually ok. I can get through a trans to there as long as its the first thing I do. Also I sometimes crash if I zone to merciless docks from say act2 or somewhere other than act3 town, same with solaris temple. Those havent happened in a while though so maybe that got fixed somewhere along the way, or perhaps Ive got used to always going to act3 town before venturing out I dunno, hard to say. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

Crashes like this are usually related to not having enough RAM or by using a 32 bit version of Windows. You can minimise the chance of this crash occurring by using the launch parameter '-gc 2'.
To add this launch parameter; simply right click your PoE shortcut, go to properties, make sure you are on the 'Shortcut' tab and find the 'Target' field. Add -gc 2 to the very end of this line so it looks something like this: Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\Client.exe" -gc 2 Make sure to have the space after the quotation marks and another space between the gc and 2. Any mistakes in this will cause the command to be ignored, so double check it has been entered correctly. |
