Incomplete/Buggy Key Bindings.

I'm a lefty, so all my games are set up with most of the keyboard stuff on the numeric keypad, the Ins/Del/Home/End/PgUp/PgDn block, and the four arrow keys. I'll use the far right end of the keyboard if I need more bindings than I have room for.

I managed to get a -few- numeric keypad bindings into PoE, but the majority of them (Divide, Multiply, Minus, Plus, and even some of the numbers, as well as the insert through pgdown block, as well as keys like equals, minus, semicolon, colon, question mark, commas, etc., will not be accepted, saying Invalid Key.

I'm currently working around this limitation with GlovePIE, but that's not the optimal way to do it. Any binding should be able to accept any key.

Thanks for your consideration in taking care of softpaws who mouse with their left hands and keyboard with the right!

I also have these same sorts of issues because I use an alternate keymap (dvorak). Lots of punctuation keys are not bindable, but they replace regular characters in the usual WASD region.
We do have plans to improve key bindings in future! We do want to have most actions bindable if possible.
Balance & Design
Hi, I was using an italian layout qwerty keyboard and I used to have map toggle binded to "\" (which is next to the "1" key). Now I have an UK layout keyboard and I'm unable to bind the map to the same physical key, which happens to be "`".
I noticed the production_config.ini file uses ascii codes for keybinding so i went ahead and set it to 96, no luck.

Do I have to resort to an ahk script?
It should the keycode, not the ascii value of the character.

Edit: on my keyboard, it shows up as 192 or 0xC0

Just tried this: shows the correct character in the options panel but doesn't open the map.

Perhaps create a new thread in the Feedback or Bug Report forum describing your issue and they can look to resolve it.

Sorry that setting the value didn't just work. Not sure why it wouldn't.
