Elemental Equilibrium + Ancestral Bond question
Does Elemental Equilibrium (EE) trigger if you also have the Ancestral Bond (AB) keystone? I mean, with AB I will be dealing 0 damage but still hitting the opponents with the spells, lowering their resistance to that element with EE... or not.
I am running a full summoner, thinking about AB + Summon Skeleton + Spell totem, and maybe Added Lightning Damage + Wrath aura + Conductivity curse while I cast something like firestorm... lowering resistances even more, but the spell will deal 0 damage and maybe it wont trigger EE. Right, if you take AB you won't be able to trigger EE, except using traps and totems.
So all you need is a trap, i suggest you make an ice nova trap, it has probably the largest area. So, you summon your skeleton totems which spew lightning damage skeletons and you only have to throw one trap to debuff enemies to lightning and fire (someone mentioned instability?), your minions cannot overwrite EE. Doesn't say on the keystone, but it lasts 5 seconds, then you whip another trap. The crappy part is 50% less elemental damage on skeletons. Or another version of it: One totem casts fireballs, the other casts freezing pulse, they apply EE in turns and strenghten each other, while you supply skeletons. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

" Yes, thats why I didnt overlook this keystone. I dont still know if the elemental damage + shock way is better than the physical damage for the zombies and skeletons, but at least this will help caster spectres and of course minion instability keystone which I totally forgot its fire damage. Thanks for your replies, you gave me some ideas. |
