the chest spawned in the doorway, and I couldnt walk around it. Maybe if I had a leap strike gem I could have continued on, but chests shouldnt be blocking paths in the first place. http://i.imgur.com/NEJF7.jpg  |

I also had this problem. It was a large chest on a narrow walkway.
I didn't know about /debug yet, though, so all I have is a regular screenshot.  |

When things like this occur in game, please take the time to do a debug by typing
/debug in game and then proceeding to screenshot that data that is provided so that this issue can be sorted on that specific tile to prevent this happening in future :) Beta Member Since 0.9.0 | Current Character : ExExCorpse

We've removed blocking on open chests, so in future this won't be a problem!

I just had the same issue, in the same location as Codebender, so it seems to still be an issue.
