Extreme disorientation and Motion sickness

I recently started playing PoE and it's tons of fun but every now and then I'd get super dizzy and motion sick but since I was focusing on smacking stuff I didn't really understand why. After further investigation and dizziness I realized that it was due to the camera suddenly coming to an immediate halt as soon as your character stops moving and and how all the motion in the background that was blurred suddenly stops and looks like it rubberbands slightly, it's very disorientating especially if you're looking at for example a chest's text "chest" whilst in motion then stopping. I've messed around with all the settings you can imagine to try to fix this but nothing is fixing the sudden stop the camera does. It may be because im on a 60 hz monitor tho. It'd be great if there was some kind of camera option to fix this. A lot of people seem to get motion sickness from PoE but none of them can put the finger on the issue nor can they find any fixes.

Err...no?

Seriously, been on the forum for years and you are the first person complaining about motion sickness in the game that i've seen (and i'm on the forums a lot)
Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1
bud. im serious. you need to go to a dr. or stop playing too much games.
not just poe.

You might need corrective lenses. Have heard of this.
Censored.
The only time I've heard of motion sickness or similar issues is from playing Flicker Strike which is mostly due to uncontrollable quick movement.

I imagine something similar could happen from immense movement speed increases but that's fairly unlikely.

If you are sure the settings don't change anything and are not (or even if) playing Flicker Strike, please see a doctor.
I actually feel like i get motion sickness from many games, especially modern fps/3ps (i'm fine with arena shooters and specifically tf2) and many game that uses an analog stick to control camera

On a side note, I've played flicker strike and not felt sick at all and have never felt sick playing a isometric(ish) arpg.

Some other methods i've heard of getting better with motion sickness is really just to keep doing what's causing it. You get accustomed to it.

I actually had some motion sickness first time I played dark souls and came back a week later and felt better.

A lot of stuff about seeing a doctor, it's probably no big deal. Pretty sure motion sickness is different from everyone.

On a side note PoE's camera can be pretty weird because it seems where you click determines where like the ankles or shins of your character go instead of feet for some reason and it gets amplified when there's any elevation in the game tilting up towards the camera...

And lockstep giving slight delay based on latency can also factor in maybe.

Anyways hope you can get to enjoy this game without feeling sick :).
