How Do Perandus Coins Work? How do I find Cadiro Perandus?

So this is my first ever PoE League and I'm trying to figure out how I spend these perandus coins I've got. Everything I have looked up seems to only have applied during the perandus league and not be applicable in Betrayal. So a few questions.


1) Can you still add "Perandus" modifier to your maps with Zana? If so, why do I not have the option / how do I unlock it?


2) Are you guaranteed Perandus in the unique map Perandus Manor? Is that the best / only way to spend my coins?


3) I saw a giant list of items that Cadiro Perandus sells. Can I purchase any of these items at any time from him? Is this more of a random gambling system wear he offers you different options everytime you see him?

Cadiro will be present in a syndicate hideout if Janus Perandus was a ranking member in that branch.

He will offer one item for sale each time you see him.

I don't know if he's anywhere else, or what difference it makes which branch you find him in (may influence the type of item he offers) and what rank Janus is.

One of the Betrayal guys has a chance to spawn him in the reward room after completing the hideout. It's the same one that drops the coins.

Cadiro has one random item for sale. I've not seen him yet this league but he might have a chance to spawn if you use the guilded scarab of Perandus.

He used to spawn in ever zone for a league. He's kind of rare now. You can target him though by getting the right Betrayal character in the right area.
