map completion indicator

say the map is half revealed and i didnt notice killing the boss for any reason, how can i tell the map is already completed (is the map completed anyway before reaching 0 monsters remaining?)

The map counts as completed when the boss is killed, no matter how many

monsters are left.

After your first completion, you get the notification on the right side of

your screen and you will get the map bonus on your atlas as well.

Just hover over the map on your atlas and you can see it.


For the following maps, there is no indicator if you already killed

the boss. (as far as i know)

and in case i already completed the map and just doing it repeatedly, where can i check that the boss has been killed?
again in case i didnt notice, boss was among other monsters, i was talking so someone while mapping, so for whatever reason

There is no way to see if the boss is allready killed (exept getting monster counter to zero).

Even this counter can't be trusted in all cases. If I remember correctly, in Jungle Valley map the counter goes down to zero if you kill all monsters outside the arena and the boss-spider will spawn if you enter. But probably you wont miss the arena, the entrance is shown on mini map.
