Resistance needed to start T1 maps?
Hello. So I'm about to hit Merc labs and kitava. I don't think I'll be able to hit cap resistance before I start T1 maps. What would you call the minimum resistances for T1 maps?

Maxed resistances are highly recommended for both merc labyrinth,Kitava fight(fire res) and maps.
Do the lab before defeating the Kitava so you won't have 2nd penalty to resistances. |

Minimum recommended - 75% across the board.
Still doable - 60-65%. If you know damn well what you're doing - I've mapped with as low as 50-ish in one resistance; but you have to know very well which monsters deal that type of damage and actively try to avoid getting hit by them. Remember, 63% resistance means you are taking 1.5 times as much damage as you are supposed to. 50% resistance means you are taking twice as much. 25% is three times as much. And so on. If you have problems capping your resistances, you can temporarily switch one of your damage auras for Purity of Elements; or a specific one if it's just one resist that's the problem. |

Reply to first comment: Planning on it lol. Right now I have 55 fire, cap lightning and cap cold before the second 30% drop. I probably have a neck that can cap me for lab and kitava. It's just getting by after kitava before I can get better rings/amulet and gloves lol.

As a band aid just use a bismuth flask until you (over)capped your resistances. That way you don't need to fiddle around with purity auras and still be able to neutralize elemental weakness curses (from map mod or monster curse).
