Nice video. What level Vaal Omnitect precursors drops from?

I wish I could tell you but I feel it's all RNG. I've gotten two crappy vial drops early league in a low level omnitect then ran 40 plus at lvl 80-83 and not a single drop.

I found one too and used it for a Melee Build as Flicker Strike. There is much more to cover about this item. As melee you need some Vaal Skill to trigger it. I prefer Vaal Spectral Throw because it works with all Weapons and has low Soul Count and 3 stacks. You need to kill basically 10 Skelettons to gain Soul Eater and store 3 charges for use anytime.

With the new Vaal Skill Flask (the cheap one) you can use basically any Vaal Skill permanently if you go bloodmagic and have Soul Eater all the time up. I combined it with Vaal Haste.
Look for max Prevantion Duration of 40% it's the important stat. Another thing about the flask is, if you use it, your char has Phasing and you see it. After it ends it is a indicator to use your Vaal Skill again and get Soul Eater. In other words it is a visual feedback for Soul Eater.

You know those new Slavedriver's Gloves with Bloodmagic on it...? Hehe.
I think the people just don't realize it yet how awesome it is to carry Soul Eater anytime with you and store it for later use... Because you can stop, loot and go again. Those 10 Skeletons are way easier to find than Soul Eater Mob with a Headhunter. This fact alone is worth 10 Headhunters.

Here a quick look on my Flicker Striker how it works with Vaal Spectral Throw.

Agreed on it's price. I strongly believe it is more valuable than 10x headhunter because it's rarity and gated behind the most ridiculous RNG. Look at how many vial of sacrifice are for sale online at any given time this league.

For quality of life I wouldn't recommend having more than one vaal skill and use as you are using a vaal skill that can have stacks. That way you can stack them up and then utilize at intervals of 10s. As you know when you renew with a vaal skill it won't work unless the first stack of soul eater goes away then you reset and ramp up souls again. I agree much more finer details yet to be discussed with this item but it's been the best chase item introduced to the game since HH.

It's been the most fun I've had in POE in a long time, for sure!

I consider to play Standard. Because i would probably never get one again. It's such fun item. From now on i will farm Omnitect only.

What is exactly fun about it? That it gives Soul Eater? U know there is a belt that gives the same thing and multiple builds that play off Soul Eater.... and the belt costs like 2c

SoulThirst removes the ability to use flasks. The belt would be a consistent way to get Soul Eater but the price is too high imo. This item gives it without too much drawback (50% increased attribute requirements).
