Item Quantity Support & Heralds
I'm still totally confused about Item Quantity Support and Herald of [Ash/Ice/Thunder] interaction.
Description of Item Quantity says: " In order to trigger the IIQ an enemy must be slain from a supported skill. A hit is not required (also the wiki says that DoT applies). Description of Herald of Ice says: " HoI has two effects. The first one add flat cold damage to spells and attacks. The second one is an on-kill effect. Upon shattering an enemy, the enemy explodes dealing cold secondary damage to surround targets. So, in my opinion, the secondary effect cannot trigger the IIQ because it's secondary damage. However, will the first effect "add x-y cold damaage to spells and attack" trigger the IIQ? Meaning if I have a skill (e.g. Elemental Hit with active HoI herald) then the IIQ will be added to enemy slain with EH? It would be the same for Herald of Thunder as it also adds flat lightning damage to spells and attacks. However Herald of Ash would be different, as it does not add any flat damage to spells or attacks. It increases overall fire damage and if an enemy is slain, overkill damage will be applied to nearby enemies. Zuletzt angestoßen am 10.07.2018, 05:49:50

The opposite.
The added damage (or the HoA %age damage) do not trigger the linked IIQ. If an enemy dies to the secondary effect of the herald, they will die with the IIQ effect. |
