Explosive arrow and point blank

Hi, i had a doubt about this 2 gems (Explosive arrow and Point blank), i already searched in google and ended up in this link :
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/520906 ----but i didn't find it useful or truthful because if i add point blank to a Explosive arrow build in path of building it increases the dmg , so i would like to know if someone knows how does it really works. Does the dmg depend on the distance i have when the fuses explode , it depends on the initial attack distance or any other explanation that i can imagine. Thanks a lot!!!. |

Point Blank applies to Attack Damage. Explosive Arrow's explosions are not Attack Damage - only the arrow hits are. You're probably looking at the arrow hit in Path of Building.

i am looking at fuses dmg not at projectile dmg...
